Our stay was a very special experience. Lovely breakfast with homemade cake, freshly baked croissant. The atmosphere created was family. The location of this hotel right by wonderful Sintra, the farm and main attractions was easy. Furthermore, close to everything.

The hotel was cool and quiet, and the staff were helpful, really enjoyed the beautiful location adjacent to the Moorish Castle, the historic sites of Pena Palace and Moorish Castle and felt very refreshing to get out of the city after a long day of sightseeing. My a double room had climate control and an iron.

My stay at Eighteen21 Houses - Quinta Velha was absolutely magical. The house and rooms were just as enchanting as they appeared in the pictures. Waking up to the breathtaking views of Castelo dos Mouros and Palácio Nacional da Pena was like something out of a fairytale. The location was perfect - quiet and peaceful, yet within walking distance of all the attractions and the town center. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had a refreshing scent. Communication with the staff was easy and efficient from the very beginning. The highlight of my stay was definitely the delicious fresh orange juice served at breakfast. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this guesthouse.
While the towels could have been refreshed more frequently, it was a minor inconvenience. Additionally, the lack of 24-hour concierge service meant that we had to make arrangements with Mara for our late check-in and check-out, but she did a fantastic job in assisting us.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and made me feel like part of their family. They took such good care of me and made sure I felt safe and looked after during my stay. The property itself was absolutely beautiful and provided a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The pool had stunning views of the surrounding mountains and felt like a luxurious resort. Additionally, the tea facilities available at all times and the delicious afternoon cakes were a lovely touch.
One downside is that the hotel is located a bit far from the town, so if you have difficulty walking long distances, you may need to rely on taxis or Ubers to get around. Also, it would have been nice to have more information about nearby walking trails and attractions to explore.

During our stay at Quinta Velha, we absolutely loved the peaceful location surrounded by beautiful gardens and forests. The views from our small balcony of the Moorish Castle and the Palace of the Peña were truly breathtaking. The staff, especially Armie who managed the hotel and cooked for us, were incredibly kind and friendly. The dinner we had on the patio while enjoying the stunning views was a highlight of our trip. The property itself was stylish and comfortable, with indoor and outdoor seating areas to relax. The pool was an added bonus and added to the overall tranquility of the place.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the bed being a little hard for our liking and the double room being slightly small, it did not detract from our overall experience. The steep hill leading up to the property made it a bit challenging to walk, but luckily there was a local tourist bus that passed by.

I loved the room at Eighteen21 Houses - Quinta Velha! The kitchen with a fridge was so convenient for storing my snacks and drinks. The balcony with a mountain view was a wonderful spot to relax in the evenings. The seating area was cozy and perfect for chilling out after a long day of exploring Sintra. The air conditioning and soundproofing in the double room made for a comfy night's sleep. The patio in another double room looked like a great spot to enjoy some fresh air. And the suite with a balcony and garden view was simply delightful. Plus, the free toiletries and hairdryer in the bathroom were a nice touch. The bed linen and towels in each room were clean and comfy.
The only thing I didn't particularly enjoy was the type of private bathroom in all the rooms. But hey, that's just my personal preference, I'm sure others would still find it perfectly fine.

We had an amazing stay at a gorgeous house situated between two iconic landmarks, Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily walk to both attractions and with a bus stop right in front of the house. The breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of bread, jams, juices, and homemade cakes. The staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel at home. The heated pool was a bonus, and the room was clean, spacious, and had a private bathroom. The facilities, including individual parking spots and a beautiful plot of land to walk around, were exceptional. We also enjoyed the cozy living room filled with books. we highly recommend Eighteen21 Houses - Quinta Velha for its excellent location, friendly staff, and great amenities.

The room was amazing with a view of the Moorish castle. The staff was super friendly and helpful, even giving us a lift to the station when we couldn't find a taxi. The breakfast they prepared was delicious. We had a blast exploring Sintra and biking around. Definitely recommend!
Could use more late-night party options for young people.
